We bought these rails to convert our Emily crib (Espresso) to a full bed. They work great. The conversion process was fairly painless. The full bed looks good. We are happy with it.

I don't know what the complaints were about, concerning this item, but it worked perfect, for me! The instructions & hardware were all included & the full-size bed fit perfect. These 2 rails saved me from having to buy another bedroom set & will last my son for years to come! Great Buy!!

If you use a box spring with the full size mattress you do not need to worry about having any support or adding any additional support for the bed which is what I read as an issue in other reviews. I did not give it 5 stars because the bolts that came with the conversion crib rails were actually the wrong size and it actually took my husband a little extra time to realize that the some of the bolts used in the crib assembly (thankfully we save these) were able to work. I don't know if this is how it is supposed to be or if ours was a fluke. The instructions are very very vague. Otherwise I am very happy with how our crib/toddler bed converted to a full. YOu really can't tell that it was once her crib!
